As part of Brisbane Pride Choir's Improved Social Media Strategy, we want to communicate and clarify our photography and recording policy:

  • During rehearsals: Members have the option to opt out of being photographed or recorded.
  • During public performances and events: Photos and videos will be taken and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. While we will attempt to edit and blur photographs for people, please be aware that this may not be possible for video recordings, and we cannot guarantee that images won't be included in these materials.
  • Member responsibility: We would like to remind you that members of the public may also record or photograph our choir's performances. Brisbane Pride Choir takes no responsibility for such recordings or photographs.

By registering with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms regarding photography and recording. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I agree to support the purpose of Brisbane Pride Choir, as set out below:
  1. To provide an opportunity for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer-friendly people to sing together.
  2. To address discrimination and disadvantage of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex community by:
    • Providing opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer-friendly people to participate in cultural activities, especially choral music
    • Promoting a positive, healthy image of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and wider communities
    • Encouraging and promoting cultivation and appreciation of choral music for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex community.
